Frysk Nasjonale Party
Some time ago I have emailed the FNP about their flag; they replied that
in the past there must have been one, but it was forgotten, and they were
in the process of designing a new one.
The "Frysk Nasjonale Party" (Frisian National Party) was founded in
1962, as a protest against the stance of the Frisian division of the "Anti-Revolutionaire
Partij" (Calvinist, the largest political party in Fryslân at the
time) that Frisian interests were subordinate to Dutch national interests.
Gradually the FNP gained more voters, and now it is represented in the
Frisian provincial states, with c. 10 % of the Frisian votes. After the
example of the Socialistische Partij it has taken
interest in problems at the grass root-level.
Description of the flag: a blue field with a diagonal white stripe,
charged with the FNP symbol in the center: a red waterlilyleaf, transfixed with a black arrow.
